Social media in optical practice
Over 50 million people use social media (SM) in the UK and most optical practices have links to social media sites, but is it worth it? This session looks at the different platforms available and maps out how each can support optical practice. An analysis is presented on optical SM sites showing significant opportunities for improvement in their deployment. The legal and reputational downsides of leaving SM management to chance are reviewed and a tool box is presented on how to incorporate SM into optical practice.
