De Rigo has launched a special edition sunglass to celebrate the annual film event.
De Rigo Vision has created a special edition sunglass for jewellery retailer Chopard for the Cannes Film Festival.
In a nod to the luxury event, the 'SCHC68' style "presents the perfect combination of modern style and true luxury," according to the company.
The new design is covered in 23kt gold and features a side spoiler showcasing a lace pattern to give it a "unique look."
Designed to be the perfect accessory for the glamour summer evening parties that take place during the film festival, the company said that each piece is "intricately crafted by a team of experienced eyewear jewellers, utilising the production processes typically used to create jewellery and watches."
In keeping with the jewellery theme, the style is available in two colorways, yellow gold and rose gold.
The sunglasses are handmade in Italy and come with an elegant case and luxurious golden velvet box.
The limited-edition style will be presented exclusively at MIDO 2018, as De Rigo Vision celebrates its 40th anniversary.
