I-Clarity are a Practice Management Software solutions company exhibiting in the Business Services section at 100% Optical 2019.
They are holding a User Conference in November in Cardiff, which is open to all their users (of course) but also prospective users as well.
I-Clarity explain that they believe there are two big changes coming in 2019 that are going to be big issues for many independents. The first is ‘Making Tax Digital’, which is going to make it illegal for most practices NOT to use professional accounting software. The second issue is and 'the introduction of processing of NHS claims electronically in England.' Although this won’t initially be compulsory, it will be quickly become financially punitive to not go down this route. Both of these will require most practices to radically change the way they work, and will put IT very much at the heart of practice management.
i-Clarity Plans Next User Conference
i-Clarity, suppliers of the increasingly popular i-Clarity practice management system, have announced the date and location of their next User Conference. This will be held at the Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel and Spa, on the 11th and 12th November 2018.
‘We’ve been holding user conferences since the product was first launched’, said Robert Ward, one of the system’s designers and founder of the company. ‘They’re a great opportunity to show our users what our developers have been up to. Twice a year we issue new releases of the software and this is our chance to show how the many new features in each release can benefit our users.’
There are two other objectives of the conference. The second objective is to get feedback from the users about what is important to them, and how they would like to see the product develop. ‘We’re never short of ideas for new features and modules’, remarks Mr Ward, ‘but it’s great to be able to test those ideas against what our users really want – and also to hear their ideas for new features as well.’
The final objective of the conference is to provide a great networking opportunity for like-minded practice owners and managers to share ideas, swap tips and tricks, and collaborate on making the most of their systems and their practices. ‘i-Clarity has always attracted users who share a similar attitude to the business of optics’, says Mr Ward; ‘They see no reason why clinical excellence and excellence in patient care should not be matched with business efficiency. The informal and friendly nature of the conference really creates an atmosphere where best practice can be discussed, agreed and shared.’
In common with previous years, there are also some free places for prospective users who are considering upgrading to i-Clarity. This is a good opportunity to get to know the Company and its philosophy, and also learn from the experience of the existing users who have been using the system, is some cases for 7 years.
This year we will also be demonstrating our English eGOS solution so that our users can be as prepared as possible for the upcoming change. This will also be a great opportunity for prospective users to get a first hand look at how i-Clarity are tackling this development and speak to our users about how well i-Clarity has been linking to electronic claims in Scotland.
To apply for one of these places please contact Charlotte Gibson, firstname.lastname@example.org, but do note that they are limited and are allocated on a first come, first served basis.
