The 100% Optical Launch in London Soho this February was a huge success.
Over 500 Opticians, Optometrists, Ophthalmologists, Dispensers and Manufacturers from as far afield as Australia and USA attended the two-day launch of 100% Optical in London.
Supported by leading eyewear design brands including TD Tom Davies, Cutler & Gross, ic! berlin and William Morris, 'the vision for 100% Optical' was organised by award-winning events company Media 10 as a preview for London's first annual eye show, 100% Optical to be held at London's Excel on 11-14th February 2014.
Eyewear optician and designer Philip Hoet of Hoet Optiek, who flew over from Antwerp liked the plan for 100% Optical so much that he booked a stand at the new event. He said: "It was great. We wanted to exhibit at the launch party but we could not get in. The new show (100% Optical) has the similar look to Munich or Paris. I think London is an important city for design and February is the perfect time for fashion as well."
Media 10's CEO Lee Newton added: "The response for our new event in London was overwhelming and we've booked 20 stands in 24hrs, including William Morris, Zuma, TD Davis, Jono Hennessy to name but a few. We want to work with associations, media and other event organisers from every country to create the UK's first truly international event."
