On Sunday Jen Cheema was announced the winner of the Royal College of Art eyewear design competition, run with 100% Optical.
The shortlisted designs were made into prototypes and presented at the show where the judges then voted for their favourite frames.
Flora Mclean said: “not many of the students had thought about going into eyewear design before so this has opened them up to a whole new area. All of the shortlisted designs are all winners – they put so much effort into their entries and it really shows.”
Jason Kirk added: “You can see that real passion and thought went into these designs and they should all be extremely proud.”
Jen Cheema has won an internship with an eyewear design company and all designs shortlisted received prize money.
