Dr Sarah Bell

Sarah Bell is a research fellow at the University of Exeter whose research focuses on people’s experiences of health, well-being, and impairment with diverse types of nature through the life course. Sarah’s work is underpinned by a passion for qualitative methodological development, designing sensitive approaches that promote critical awareness of alternative ways of embodying, experiencing and interpreting nature in the context of people’s everyday lives. Sarah is currently leading the two-year project, Sensing Nature, which aims to improve the way we understand, enable and promote more positive, inclusive multi-sensory nature experiences among adults with sight impairments, regardless of their life stage.
