ZEISS Academy are pleased to announce their educational programme for the latter half of 2017, with three one-day events planned for October. Topics include OCT, Fundus Imaging, Analysis and Optical Biometry:
- OCT, Fundus Imaging & Perimetry for Glaucoma – Tuesday 3rd October
- OCT Acquisition, Analysis & Interpretation – Wednesday 4th October
- Optical Biometry – Thursday 5th October
CET points are also available as follows:
- OCT & Fundus Imaging for Glaucoma - 6 points for Optometrists
- OCT Acquisition - 8 points for Optometrists and 6 points for Dispensing Optometrists
- Biometry - 6 points for Dispensing Opticians and Optometrists
All courses will be held at the new ZEISS Vision Institute, a state-of-the-art facility specifically built to cater for educational courses, in order to provide the best possible learning experience. Located in central Birmingham, the Vision Institute is connected with a number of transport links, making it easily accessible for delegates to attend.
Course attendance will be charged at £125+ VAT per person. This includes all course materials, lunch and refreshments. Places can be booked online via www.zeiss.co.uk/academy-events. Spaces are limited so early booking is strongly advised. The courses will be led by Head of Training and Clinical Support, Lyn Millbank. As an Orthoptist trained in Melbourne Australia, Lyn has worked in Ophthalmic departments in New Zealand, Nepal and the UK. Lyn now manages the Clinical Training team, who will also be supporting the events.
