Exquisite world class design, Zuma Eyewear to introduce Oga's new Piltra line with some truly stunning releases.

British Eyewear Supplier Zuma Eyewear will be releasing new models from the Öga Brand created by award winning French Manufacturer Morel.

A masterpiece of technical engineering the latest additions to the Piltra collection, a new line within Öga, took two years of research and development. Produced in collaboration with artisan cabinetmakers of the mountainous Jura region of France, Piltra styles combine wood, aluminium, stainless steel and acetate to create a distinctive product.

The sublime temples, with a perfectly continuous surface, are constructed from two pieces of Stamina wood (rolled wood with resin) and a layer of aluminium precision cut to fit in the centre.

Supported by a double action springless flex hinge, pioneered by Morel, delivers an anti rocking mechanism to optimise the positioning of the temple and has a square design which is integral to the design. The fronts are available in both acetate and stainless steel to offer dispensing flexibility.

The Öga range for Men has been designed with a Scandinavian aesthetic with pioneered hinge mechanisms. The functional minimal design and silhouettes are inspired by contemporary architecture.

Zuma Eyewear supply several brands by Morel that have won multiple awards for their patented technologies and complex manufacturing processes to produce exceptional eyewear which is successfully sold in over 135 countries worldwide. Morel have been manufacturing eyewear for the international market since 1985.
