The range was conceived by Fürst, a renowned ceramicist, who, bored with conventional eyewear, decided to design her own. Having spent almost 20 years designing and exhibiting ceramic sculpture before moving into eyewear, Fürst’s creations reference her unique style as an artist. As the range goes from strength to strength, Fürst’s passion for sculpting and painting continues to feed into her designs.
Ronit Fürst frames are designed to look different from every angle, with fine detail and tiny embellishments, graduated colour schemes and asymmetric designs. The ethos of the range is to create quirky, individual styles that capture the wearer’s personality, with the ever growing range of colours and styles the hardest part for many customers is limiting themselves to just one pair!
The reaction from wearers is always enthusiastic:
“I felt as if I had tried on every pair of glasses in my town – I was looking for something different, which expressed my sense of style. Now my glasses make me feel different, special... Suddenly, everyone walking towards me is smiling.” (Kim, software marketing director)
“As a fairly traditional dresser at work, my Ronit Fürst glasses provide a real contrast – I want another pair!” (Emma, civil servant)
“They’re part of my wardrobe... they make me feel a bit naughty – my mother wouldn’t like them!” (Christine, MD, executive search company)
“My reading glasses always felt like a very clear sign of the relentless aging process, but my Ronit Fürst glasses are different – now I’ve just found another accessory to have fun with.” (Caroline, teacher)
