Götti’s collection of rimless glasses has won yet another design award – the Götti Perspective collection picked up gold at the International Design Awards (IDA) in Los Angeles.
The combination of straight aesthetics and innovative technology is outstanding. The simple lens assembly involving a 3D-printed push-fit system that features no screws or adhesives is a technical innovation. This fits seamlessly into the reduced design language and creates a new aesthetic in spite of the unassuming frames. The endless possibilities offered by a system of this kind are fascinating. Countless color and shape combinations can be created using just a few components.
The international jury assessed the products on the basis of design standards and trends. It selected visionary designers it considers to be pioneering in the way that they think and innovate. This is the eleventh time that the design awards have been presented in the fields of architecture, graphic design, product design, and fashion. The IDAs are considered to be one of the most significant design awards in North America.
“We are delighted that we were able to impress the jury as a Swiss company with our system of innovative rimless glasses,” says Creative Director and CEO Sven Götti.
