Complementing the attitude of the effortlessly cool Maje girl, the brand’s second optical collection celebrates the modern and versatile spirit of the apparel line. Adding a playfully Parisian element to the sunglass offering for the Autumn/Winter season, the feminine styles exude a sultry attitude for poolside chic or as the finishing touch to a party ensemble. The versatility of the M bag and its signature details such as the visible stitches, the embossed M logo and the Art Deco patterns continue to be translated as subtle sign offs across the range.
Oversized, MJ1010 is designed with an ‘80s aesthetic that looks to the glamour of the era of excess. Crafted from acetate mixed with metal, there is more than meets the eye to this seemingly pared back style. A metal insert around the frame highlights the rim and catches the light adding to the dainty qualities of the otherwise technical construction. The style is offered in a crystal palette of pastels and earthy, neutral tones featuring a tonal colour application on the temples.
A continuation of inspiration of the first collection, MJ1009 is a rework of the gentle round cat-eye. The syrupy colourways on the milky acetate bring a softness while the metal rivets that join the bridge and the temples are left visible to add detail to the modern structure.
A ladylike twist on a retro inspired pilot frame: with its oversized boyfriend feel, MJ3002 features a single top bar – a feminine fashion feature accented in vintage colouration.
Lightweight yet durable, MJ1011 is made from acetate and is inspired by the quirky look of the art teacher of the ‘80s. With a round panto shape and a keyhole shaped bridge, this style has been designed with a lightness
conveyed also by the bespoke core wire in the temples– the nude colour options further accentuating the tenderness of the frame.
