Michelle Beach graduated in optometry from Cardiff University in 1993 and completed her training at the Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham. She is passionate about sport, having competed in swimming and running to County standard and achieved England status in women’s basketball. This keen interest in sport led to her to complete a sports vision diploma with distinction in 2008. Michelle enjoys working with children, having twins of her own, and has a designated area for children at her practice. Her keen interest in children and drive to improve children’s learning in school led to her studying for a school vision diploma in 2010 and continues to undertake research in this field.
