The Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) had an exciting time at 100% Optical this year. Once again the Association hosted the ABDO Arms, which has proved to be one of the most popular and busy annual features at the show. ABDO will also be conducting CET discussion workshops and coordinating events at the ‘Dispensing Workshop’ area.

Michael Potter, Head of Marketing and Communications at ABDO, said: “Reflecting back on three days spent at 100% Optical, I’m delighted that the ABDO Arms is now a firm feature at the show and has continued to grow in popularity. As many people have said ‘it always looked busy’ - and indeed it was with visitors showing genuine interest in ABDO’s activities, ABDO College courses and Dispensing Optics.

“The Dispensing Workshop, specially designed to accommodate discussion workshops and managed by ABDO CET, was a great success. The demand was so great that a number of additional sessions were added to the programme to accommodate the overflow of delegates wishing to participate in the ABDO CET on offer.

“Overall the show continues to progress year-on-year and ABDO looks forward to working with Media 10 to bring further innovation to 100% Optical 2019.”
