This session will focus on how integrating ophthalmic simulation into the optometry curriculum has transformed clinical education, enhanced opportunities for students to learn and allowed refinement of essential clinical skills. Simulation allows trainees to gain insight into a wide range of pathologies and to practise techniques in an immersive close-to-life experience, with absolute safety.
