This session focuses on building confidence and consistency in the interpretation of macular OCT. Following a short introduction to retinal anatomy, layers, terminology, and key indications for scanning, participants will be guided through a structured, four-level approach to OCT interpretation using real clinical cases.
Learning outcomes:
- Practitioners will describe macular OCT anatomy, retinal layers, and key terminology, and outline indications for macular OCT scanning in clinical practice
- Practitioners will examine macular OCT images using a structured, four-level approach to distinguish normal from abnormal findings and evaluate likely diagnoses based on clinical features
