Following the spectacular spectacle success in the 2025 battle between spectacles and contact lenses, this discussion workshop will see these two optical solutions go back into the ring in a session all about myopia management – it’s up to you to decide which one will win.
Learning outcomes:
- Practitioners will recognise how to support myopic paediatric patient and their parents/carers, and young adults to take an active part in the decision-making process to determine which management strategies will be most appropriate for their needs
- Practitioners will be able to outline current available myopia management strategies for suitable patients based on scientific evidence
- Practitioners will be able to apply effective patient care based on current good practice when recommending myopia management strategies, ensuring they are clinically justified, in the best interests of the patient
