Myopia is a growing global concern, with prevalence rising rapidly among children and young adults. Effective management strategies are essential to slow progression and reduce long-term ocular health risks.  With the recent UK approval of low concentration of atropine for myopia control, this session will explore the use of atropine for myopia control. Consideration will also be given to optical interventions for myopia control. We will discuss clinical efficacy, safety profiles, patient selection, and practical considerations for UK implementation. Attendees will gain insights into how these interventions can be integrated into everyday practice, and future directions for the next steps in myopia control in the UK.

• Practitioners will describe the clinical evidence, safety profile, and expected treatment effects of low-concentration atropine and outline how this compares with current optical interventions for myopia control
