This presentation explores the relationship between eyecare and hearing care, with a focus on the overlapping demographics of their patient populations. Vision and hearing loss often co-occur, particularly in older adults, leading to shared challenges in communication, mobility, and overall quality of life. By examining the correlation between age-related sensory decline, we highlight the importance of a collaborative approach between opticians and audiologists. This leads on to the innovative solution presented by EssilorLuxottica in Nuance audio: the first hearing solution built into spectacle frames for mild to moderate hearing loss.​
