This session explores practical approaches for assessing reading performance beyond simple acuity, including the use of test types that measure reading speed and comfortable print size. Delegates will discuss straightforward optical interventions and advice suitable for primary care, as well as pathways for referral and collaboration between optometrists and dispensing opticians to deliver effective, patient-centred reading solutions.
