02 Mar 2026
AOP Lounge
Peer review
This session explores the role of 200-degree ultra-widefield and OCT imaging in comprehensive retinal examinations, highlighting the clinical advantages of each modality. Through four detailed case studies, AMD, glaucoma, myopia, and ocular melanoma, participants will examine a range of retinal pathologies and learn how advanced imaging supports diagnosis, monitoring, and management.
Learning outcomes:
- Practitioners will describe how ultra-widefield imaging and OCT contribute to the detection and monitoring of retinal and optic nerve pathology, using case examples to illustrate their clinical value
- Practitioners will examine case findings in AMD, glaucoma, myopia and ocular melanoma, and evaluate how imaging evidence informs appropriate management or referral decisions within their scope of practice
