Altris AI Introduces 3 New AI-powered Features

Altris AI Stand: E19
Altris AI Introduces 3 New AI-powered Features
Altris AI, an artificial intelligence platform for OCT analysis, is used by more than 500 eye-care businesses worldwide. Unlike other solutions, which require a pre-existing assumption about a particular biomarker or a pathology, Altris AI identifies a wide range of retinal conditions (70+) without the need for targeted searches.

Altris AI now launches major updates before 100% Optical: Glaucoma Optic Disc Analysis module along with Fluids and Geographic Atrophy (GA) quantification and tracking functionalities.

Altris AI has introduced its Advanced Optic Disc (OD) Analysis, building on its earlier innovation with Ganglion Cell Complex (GCC) Asymmetry Analysis to enhance the improvements from the Altris AI macula module which has been available for several years.

The Advanced Glaucoma Analysis module has been created to address the challenges of both early glaucoma detection and the high rate of false positives in glaucoma screening. The updated module evaluates optic disc parameters using OCT, providing personalized assessments by accounting for individual disc and cup sizes, angle of rim absence, average Retinal Nerve Fiber Layer (RNFL) thickness, and more.

Fluids and Geographic Atrophy (GA) Quantification

Intraretinal Cystoid Fluid (IRC), Diffuse Edema, Subretinal Fluid (SRF), and Serous Retinal Pigment Epithelium (RPE) Detachment are critical biomarkers for many serious conditions. Altris AI enables accurate detection, quantification, and tracking of these biomarkers making disease monitoring objective and efficient.

The platform also facilitates automated detection, quantification, and tracking of GA by analyzing 3 key biomarkers of GA: Hypertransmission, RPE Atrophy, and Neurosensory Retina Atrophy. Progression Tracking enhances GA management by visualizing changes over time, supporting timely and accurate treatment decisions. By providing actionable insights, this feature helps ECPs make informed choices and potentially preserve vision in GA patients.
