GÖTTI DIMENSION
PRODUCTION – MADE IN SWITZERLAND
The additive manufacturing method offers a great deal of freedom and new possibilities. As production is carried out piece by piece, many individual options can be realized. It all starts with a design of the eyewear shape, which is constructed into a three-dimensional object on the computer. The targeted and resource-saving production takes place in our own factory in Zurich. Very fine polyamide powder is added to an industrial SLS printer. This builds up the frames layer by layer with the help of a laser beam and is then finished with several surface treatments. During the final dyeing process, the specially created color penetrates into the initially white material, creating a color full of character and a matt surface.
SUSTAINABILITY
Thanks to efficient production with few work steps and low material consumption, production is significantly more sustainable compared to traditional production. Another decisive factor is that the glasses are only produced as required and the material is extremely light and very resilient.
CUSTOM MADE – EYEWEAR MADE TO MEASURE
Each optical frame is available with individual parameters. Limitless variations are possible from the many shapes and options. Here we concentrate on the two main elements of lens size and bridge width. Our approach deliberately avoids complicated measuring methods and scanning. Thanks to customization, any proportion can be achieved, guaranteeing a perfect fit. Another option is the individualization of the temples. Instead of a straight temple, an easily customizable temple with a metal insert or a made-to-measure golf temple is available.
