Optovue SOLIX is available in two configurations – SOLIX Essential and SOLIX Expert – allowing practices and clinics to select the level of functionality that best matches their clinical focus and patient demographics.

Both Optovue SOLIX Essential and Optovue SOLIX Expert are built on the same ultra-fast spectral-domain OCT platform, delivering:

·         FullRange® OCT imaging for wide and deep visualisation from cornea to choroid

·         Anterior and posterior segment imaging within a single device

·         High-density, motion-corrected scans for reproducible follow-up and progression analysis

·         Integrated fundus photography for colour, red-free and external imaging

·         Advanced corneal and epithelial thickness mapping, supporting corneal disease diagnosis and monitoring

·         Optional OCT-based corneal topography on both models, enabling assessment of anterior and posterior corneal surfaces within the same OCT workflow​​

 

Optovue SOLIX Essential

High-resolution OCT with fundus imaging

​Optovue SOLIX Essential delivers comprehensive OCT imaging of the anterior and posterior segments, combined with an integrated fundus camera. It provides detailed structural assessment of the retina, optic nerve, cornea and anterior chamber, supporting efficient day-to-day clinical workflows.

·         FullRange® anterior segment imaging capturing the entire anterior chamber in a single scan

·         Retinal and optic nerve analysis, including RNFL and GCC thickness mapping with normative databases

·         Advanced glaucoma analytics, including trend analysis for longitudinal monitoring

·         Corneal pachymetry and epithelial thickness mapping, supporting keratoconus, dry eye and refractive surgery assessment

·         External and internal fundus photography for documentation and patient communication

Optovue SOLIX Expert

OCT with OCT-Angiography (OCT-A)

Building on the capabilities of Optovue SOLIX Essential, Optovue SOLIX Expert adds advanced OCT-angiography (OCT-A) for non-invasive visualisation and quantitative analysis of retinal and choroidal vasculature. Additional capabilities include:

·         ​AngioVue® OCT-A technology for depth-resolved visualisation of retinal and choroidal blood flow

·         High-density OCT-A scanning with widefield montage options for peripheral assessment

·         3D vessel rendering for intuitive visualisation of vascular connectivity

·         Quantitative vascular metrics, including vessel density, FAZ analysis and flow area measurements

·         Enhanced glaucoma management, combining structural OCT data with vascular analytics

·         Improved assessment of complex retinal and highly myopic cases, where wide and deep imaging is critical
