Knowing and classifying the shape of the scleral surface is essential in order to design large diameter lenses with the best possible accuracy. The Slc adapta design allows the creation of asymmetrical scleral lenses that follow the scleral profile at each points, eliminating most of the complications associated with the use of preformed scleral lenses.
