We launched our brand-new website in June 2025, and with it came the perfect opportunity to refresh the way we approach social media. As a practice, we’ve always believed that our greatest strength lies in our people. Our team genuinely cares about every patient who walks through our doors, and we want each visit to feel positive, personal, memorable. Social media has become an extension of that philosophy—a place where we can share who we are, what we do, and how much we enjoy connecting with our community.

With this in mind, we began re-evaluating our social media strategy to make it more authentic and engaging. One of the biggest changes was introducing short, informative videos featuring our own team members. We decided to start with treatments and processes that patients can physically see, helping to make our services feel more accessible and less clinical. Our first few videos focused on Blephex treatments, ear wax removal, and the step-by-step process of creating an ear mould.

At first, the team wasn’t entirely convinced there were a few nervous smiles whenever I appeared with a microphone and camera in hand. But very quickly, what began as a slightly daunting task turned into something everyone genuinely enjoyed. Friendly competitions soon emerged over who could get the most likes or comments, and team members started suggesting their own ideas for future videos based on what they felt would benefit our patients most.

The response from patients has been incredibly uplifting. Many tell us how much they enjoy seeing familiar faces online, and some even say that watching our videos feels like catching up with family before they arrive for their appointments.
