Woodhouse Opticians has a reputation for colourful and sometimes whacky frames. We deserve to be considered for Most Engaging Practice Window for our campaign partnership with Hudson eyewear and the Roger cartoon range. To celebrate the partnership we created a window display and 'cartooonised' our team members. We had great fun with regular patients who popped in to have a laugh and compliment us on the accuracy of the images, one remarked, 'Brilliant cartoon figures look so much like each of u lol'. Introducing a new range especially high end is not always easy but launching Roger frames in a playful and fun manner and affectionally sending up our team with this colourful eye catching window display increased footfall .

The larger than life cartoon versions of our team created quite a stir from fellow business owners on the high street and children stopped their parents in front of the window to point and giggle.

With the current trend for metal frames seeing a resurgence this partnership really captured the zeitgeist and on the back of the window display Facebook engagement was high for us with 675 views and just over 40 minutes watch time on Instagram and reached 43.7% non followers. we have gone on to re order these frames regularly for patients and consider it the most successful launch of a new range we have had since 2023. Without doubt the window display was the trigger for this success.
