MEA enables rapid, non-invasive visualisation of the meibomian glands at the point of care, supporting earlier detection of meibomian gland dysfunction and dry eye disease. The system is paired with our cloud-based platform, allowing clinicians to store, compare and track images over time, support patient education, and, in future, benefit from AI-driven gland analysis and risk stratification.

Our focus is on bringing objective, image-based assessment of the ocular surface into routine workflows—whether in primary care optometry, contact lens clinics, pre-operative cataract pathways, oculoplastic and refractive surgery clinics, glaucoma clinics, or dedicated dry eye clinics—helping clinicians “see earlier” and intervene sooner.
