Woodys Eyewear launches a new limited-edition sunglass capsule made with vinyl under license from the band QUEEN
True to its creative spirit and constant pursuit of innovation in materials, Woodys Eyewear presents a new limited-edition capsule inspired by the musical universe, developed under the official license of the legendary band Queen, in which vinyl takes center stage in the design.
The collection features six sunglass models, each with two references, combining high-quality vinyl with premium acetate to create pieces with a strong aesthetic identity.
In addition to the vinyl, what also sets these frames apart are their exclusive details. The temple design is inspired by a guitar neck and incorporates a metal core engraved with elements characteristic of the instrument: frets, strings, and other distinctive details.
The temple tips include a direct nod to the Queen universe: each model features two different engravings on the tips, one with the Queen “Q” and the other with a vinyl record. In addition, the model names are inspired by some of the band’s most iconic songs, reinforcing the link between design and musical culture.
In terms of quality, the sunglasses incorporate CR39 lenses with category 3 UVA and UVB protection and an anti-reflective coating. In addition, the DUST02 and CHAMPION02 models include photochromic lenses, which automatically adapt to light. To ensure strength and durability, the frames are equipped with reinforced five-barrel hinges.
More than just an eyewear collection, Woodys offers pieces that connect contemporary design with musical culture, transforming vinyl into a design object intended for those who live music as part of their identity: lovers of fashion, music, and, of course, Queen fans.
Available at the best optical stores and on the official Woodys website.
