Anthony King
Professor Anthony King is a consultant ophthalmologist with a subspecialist interest in glaucoma at Nottingham University Hospital, and an honorary professor of ophthalmology at the University of Nottingham. He runs a tertiary referral glaucoma service and a glaucoma fellowship program. His primary research interest is in the clinical management of glaucoma, particularly advanced glaucoma, and he is particularly interested in patients’ preferences for the management of their condition. Anthony is the Royal College of Ophthalmologists clinical lead for the development of a glaucoma surgery audit tool, which will lead to the establishment of a National Ophthalmic Database of all practising glaucoma surgeons.
