Daniel Sibley

Daniel graduated from Brighton and Sussex Medical School in 2012 with a first class intercalated degree in neuroscience. After completing the academic foundation programme, he completed his comprehensive ophthalmology training in North London. He completed two corneal fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital before taking up a locum consultant position, he was made a substantive consultant in cornea, external eye diseases and cataract at Moorfields in 2023. He has an interest in general cornea and a subspecialist interest in external inflammatory eye diseases and co-leads on the corneal immunosuppression service. Daniel is the fellowship programme director for the corneal service responsible for running one of the largest and most successful corneal fellowship programmes in Europe. He has authored numerous publications and actively participates in national and international clinical trials.
