Deepali Modha graduated from Cardiff University in 2009 and has since worked in primary care practice. She has completed the LOCSU glaucoma and MECS qualifications, and recently completed the theory aspect of therapeutic prescribing in optometry; within two years she will be complete her placement and have IP status. During her time at Vision Express, she supervised students at both store and regional level, and supported the delivery of the training programme for pre-reg optometrists. She was regional optical lead working alongside the operations dept. to troubleshoot store concerns, manage professionals in the region and recruit and maintain talent. She is an honorary associate lecturer at Anglia Ruskin University and an assessor for the scheme for registration. She has previously held posts on the College of Optometrists (2018-2021) and AOP (2017-2021) councils. Deepali is now the clinical engagement manager for the Greater London division for Specsavers.
