Harminder Singh Dua, MBBS, DO, DO(London), MS, MNAMS, FRCS(Edinburgh), FEBO(EU), FRCOphth, FRCP(Edinburgh, Honorary), FCOptom.(UK, Honorary), FRCOphth.(UK, Honorary), FAICO(Honorary, India), MD, PhD, is chair and professor of ophthalmology and consultant ophthalmologist, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust. He has a special interest in the Cornea and Ocular surface. He has over 500 publications with a H-index of 89 and has received over 170 awards and accolades including the CBE. He was President of the RCOphth., UK, Editor-in-chief of the BJO, besides holding other posts and also served a term as High Sheriff of Nottinghamshire. He is the current Editor-in-chief of Eye.
