In December 2022, Joe joined Mainline Instruments after his time at the NHS, where he worked as a diabetic retinal screener/grader. His previous role involved managing his own clinics, triaging and assessing retinal images, and making crucial clinical decisions based on comprehensive patient health records. While primarily providing diabetic grades, he also received training to identify and refer patients for further pathologies. Joe diligently followed government screening guidelines to ensure that patients were directed to the appropriate pathways and received timely advice and treatment.
