Kishan is an optometrist in the UK and has been awarded a PhD studentship at UCL Institute of ophthalmology where he focusses on harnessing smartphone technology to assess the lifestyle impact and quality of life with eye disease. He is also an honorary clinical research fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital. His contribution in building the OverSight app helped him win the clinical leader of the future award (Optician, 2023) and achieve a place on the NHS clinical entrepreneur programme. He is also founder of Clinician People, a company that provides digital tools for clinicians including the app Ask Fellow Optoms.
