Kishan is a qualified optometrist in the UK. He was awarded a PhD studentship at UCL Institute of ophthalmology where he focussed on harnessing smartphone technology to assess the lifestyle impact and quality of life with eye disease. He was an honorary clinical research fellow at Moorfields Eye Hospital. His contribution in building the OverSight app helped him win the clinical leader of the future award (Optician, 2023) and achieve a place on the NHS clinical entrepreneur programme. He is now founder of Clinician People, a company that provides digital tools for clinicians including the app Ask Fellow Optoms.
