Lizzie Bartlam

Lizzie holds a doctorate in ophthalmic science and is professionally qualified as a dispensing optician, low vision optician and contact lens optician. She has worked at Aston University for over 26 years as a teaching fellow, where she leads teaching in low vision. Alongside her academic role, she is currently a senior tutor at ABDO College, and an external examiner at Birmingham City University for rehabilitation programmes for people with visual impairment.
