Maria McGoldrick is an optometrist and clinical performance consultant at Specsavers and holds an advanced certificate in coaching practice and a professional qualification accredited by the Association for Coaching. In addition, she completed a BA in business management, the IP course at Glasgow Caledonian University and has attained a PGCert in psychotherapy and counselling studies. Maria has held management and senior management roles within the optical sector for over ten years. Her primary interest is in people and what makes them feel fulfilled and engaged in their work. It is this that drives her continued study and professional development. It is through her studies that Maria has deepened her knowledge and understanding of how to support people in their work in primary optical care.
