Mike Horler

Mike is a clinical performance consultant for Specsavers, and a consultant for Cascader Ltd. In addition, Mike is a consultant optometrist in medical retina at Sussex Eye Hospital, a visiting lecturer at the University of Hertfordshire, and College of Optometrists councillor and fellow. Prior to this, he was the medical retina co-lead in the Moorfields/UCL postgraduate team. Mike obtained his IP qualification in New Zealand, where he co-managed patients in the community and held a teaching post at the University of Auckland. He has a wide range of experience in optometry and subspecialty ophthalmology and has given numerous invited presentations on AMD.
