Neil Retallic
Neil Retallic is an optometrist with experience of working within practice, education and professional services roles. He is currently the head of professional development at Specsavers and a College of Optometrists' assessor and examiner. He previously worked in the contact lens industry progressing from UK to global level roles; prior to this he held several teaching roles at various UK universities and worked both in-store and in support centre roles for multiple opticians. He has been involved with numerous organisations as a council and committee member across the sector and is the immediate past president of the BCLA and part of the GOC education committee. He has actively participated in charity work with Vision Aid Overseas and the Special Olympics.
