Neil is an optometrist, educator, and researcher with experience across clinical, professional services, academic, and leadership roles in the UK and internationally. He is head of optometry development at Specsavers and a College of Optometrists assessor and examiner. Currently completing a PhD on mental well-being within the optical profession at the University of Bradford, Neil is a regular author and speaker at conferences, CPD events, and in peer-reviewed journals. A former BCLA President and GOC education committee member, he has held numerous committee roles, with a passion for professional development, collaboration, clinical optometry, and contact lenses.
