Paramdeep is an optometrist working in both community and academic practice. Having qualified in 2009, he undertook scientist and higher education training through postgraduate study. Paramdeep has contributed to the scientific literature through journal publications, professional articles, and conference presentations. In 2015, he qualified as an independent prescriber, enabling him to expand his clinical scope and enhance patient care through evidence-based treatment strategies. His independent prescribing practice focuses on primary care, particularly within enhanced ophthalmic services schemes, allowing him to develop comprehensive management plans and support patients throughout their treatment journey. Paramdeep is particularly motivated by the ability to resolve patients’ symptoms while demonstrating the clinical value of optometrists in delivering safe, timely, and effective care.
