Paul is director of professional advancement for Specsavers. The role involves furthering clinical scope, professional services, standards and strategy for the group. He has previously worked in a range of clinical positions in ophthalmology and clinical practice, always with an educational focus. Paul is also the ophthalmic director of the Bridgend, Bridgend Derwen and Porthcawl practices in South Wales. He has been a director of FODO, chair of the Optical Confederation IT and information committee, and is the current Optometry Wales vice-chair.
