Professor Pete Shah is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. He is an Honorary Professor of Glaucoma. Pete has written 5 books and published over 200 peer-reviewed scientific contributions. He is passionate about preventing avoidable glaucoma blindness and patient safety. Pete is a Past-President of the UK & Eire Glaucoma Society, Past-President of the British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society, & Past-Secretary of the Oxford Ophthalmological Congress.
