Professor Pete Shah is a consultant ophthalmic surgeon at University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. He is an honorary professor of glaucoma. Pete has written 5 books and published over 200 peer-reviewed scientific contributions. He is passionate about preventing avoidable glaucoma blindness and patient safety. Pete is a past-president of the UK & Eire Glaucoma Society, past-president of the British Ophthalmic Anaesthesia Society, and past-secretary of the Oxford Ophthalmological Congress.
