Rukaiya Anwar
Rukaiya Anwar qualified as an optometrist in 2017 and has since practised in a wide range of professional settings. She has worked in specialist hospital practice, as well as a lecturer in academia and a clinical training lead specialising in low vision. Currently, Rukaiya sits on the low vision expert group, as well as the appeals panel for the College of Optometrists alongside being a clinical lead for Primary Eyecare Services. Over the past year, she has been appointed to the new role of council associate by the General Optical Council. Rukaiya shares her passion of contact lenses through her professional affairs consultant and faculty role at Johnson & Johnson Vision.
