Giancarlo Montani

Giancarlo is the scientific director and a Professor of clinical contact lens application at the University of Salento in Italy. Involved in optometric education since 1988, he served as head of the contact lens division at the Santa Chiara University Medical Centre in Pisa, Italy, until 2004. In 2007, Giancarlo co-founded CeRCA, a research center active in the field of contact lens research. He also works in private practice. Giancarlo has published numerous articles in optometric journals and has been an invited speaker at several national and international optometry conferences.
