Stephanie Campbell
Stephanie Campbell is an optometrist and founder OKKO Health, a digital eye care start up in Bristol. Stephanie has worked as a specialist optometrist in hospitals, in community optometry practice and also in industry and regulation. She enjoyed studying in Cardiff so much she went back to study a PhD in keratoconus in Down’s syndrome, and realised the opportunity for patients to self-monitor would be game-changing for those with learning disabilities, but could also be applied to adults with chronic eye disease. Stephanie founded OKKO Health to enable patients to self-monitor between clinic appointments and get treatment ahead of time, at the earliest moment when deterioration occurs.
