This interactive session will provide a review of common and not so common eyelid conditions that may be encountered in optometric practice and consider the aetiology behind them plus their management. The workshop will provide useful revision for optometrists, dispensing opticians and contact lens opticians.
Learning outcomes:
Practitioners will identify different approaches for explaining meibomian gland dysfunction to patients and how to encourage compliance for self-treatment, relative to their scope of practice
Practitioners will be able to recognise common eyelid conditions and identify appropriate management steps relative to their scope of practice.
