Discussion workshop: Preparing your patient for cataract surgery - what do you need to tell them?
This interactive session will consider the best way to prepare a patient from community practice for cataract surgery. It will include: What the first appointment is for and what will happen Considerations about refractive outcomes The impact of pre-existing conditions on surgical outcome What patients worry about most or likely to complain about most How to manage to expectations.
