Management options for the unstable lens - a vitreoretinal perspective

This session will cover how to identify an unstable natural lens both in the context of cataract and non-cataract conditions and discuss management and surgical treatment of these cases. The second part of the session will cover how to manage patients who present with unstable or dislocated lens implants and describe new techniques and lenses available to manage these cases.
Learning outcomes:
Practitioners will be able to identify the characteristics of an unstable lens
Practitioners will recognise when it is appropriate to refer patients with an unstable lens for management in secondary care.
