In Milton Keynes, ophthalmology waiting times for treatments have been estimated at 32 weeks, while the average waiting period in Ilford is 14 weeks.[1] By contrast, CHEC offer high-quality ophthalmology and endoscopy services to patients within 4 weeks.

The two new hospitals will provide ophthalmology and endoscopy services in the heart of the community.
