DROPtonic 5% – Hypertonic solution for the treatment of corneal edema

DROPtonic 5%® is an hypertonic ophthalmic solution for the treatment of corneal edema. DROPtonic 5%® makes the tear hypertonic and recalls, by osmotic effect, the excess water from the corneal tissue, reducing the edemigenous state of the cornea.

Indications

DROptonic 5% is indicated for visual discomfort from corneal edema caused by:

•  Inflammation and traumas after refractive surgery, cataracts, retinal detachments, and corneal transplants
•  Corneal endothelial decompensation
