The Visual Fixation System is a device to help clinicians examine the eyes of patients who find eye tests difficult. It is useful for young children, patents with learning disabilities and adults with dementia.
It was invented by Simon Berry and it is currently sold through DizzyDuck.
ERIN'S WORLD FRAMES
Erin’s World Frames are designed to offer a more comfortable, better fitting spectacle frame for people with down syndrome. Maria Dellapina initially designed these frames for her Daughter Erin. They are known world-wide.

THE GILESGATE STORY CHALLENGE
Once upon a time in Gilesgate an Optometrist started a short story competition for local schools, to raise money for local charities…. It grew!
